Grand Knight Report:

A lot on horizon and a lot of upcoming events, including big breakfast on 2/9, fish fries during lent (starting 3/7), COR meeting on 2/18; last Tuesday was financial webinar, thank you to those who attended; welcome to new members: Fazi, Fabio, Daniel, Alejandro, Ricardo from Thursday in person degree

 

Bills and Communication:

Membership Report:

8 new members, 5 were present, they received their rosaries and welcome packets.

 

Financial Secretary Report:

$296 from Dec big breakfast, $88 from Jan, big breakfast, $30 for dues

 

Treasurer’s Report:

November Balance: $10,705.40

December Receipts: $249

December Expenses: $366.15

January Expenses: $262.25

January Balance: $10,326.90

 

Program Director:

Jan big breakfast was big success, Feb big breakfast is this upcoming Sunday, always looking for assistance, last breakfast until May (Mothers Day); thank you to those who showed up for reconciliation service previous Saturday; thank you to those who showed up for in person degree ceremony; March 7 will begin fish fries, will need assistance with set up, food service, and clean up

 

Faith Director Report:

St Katharine Drexel Novena 2/22-3/3

 

Community Director:

Motorcycle blessing went successfully, thank you to all those who showed up, 32 motorcycles left from resurrection; planning trip on 2/8 at 3pm; bike week event coming 3/8

 

Life Director:

Prison ministry continues every Thursday night for 2 hours, has had 235 inmate encounters and 38 hours of volunteer time in the past 10 weeks, a one-day retreat at Lake Correctional Institution is planned for February 15th, expecting 30 inmates to participate

 

Family Director Report:

Will do easter egg hunt the week after easter (4/27) after 7:30 and noon masses, will need assistance will loading eggs and conducting the hunt

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Meeting will be next Monday at St Nickolas, renewal of promises

 

Insurance Agent Report:

Introduced our new field agent Alek Urrutia, he’s taking over part of Brian Lisewski’s territories, will be meeting with Scotty soon to discuss membership opportunities

 

District Deputy Report:

Thank you for everything council did for live degree; one new member away from double star council, potential to make triple star

 

Unfinished Business:

State convention delegates were voted and approved: Scotty and George as primaries, Rafael and Lewis as alternates, Hank will submit names the following morning

 

New Business:

Sr Pat thanked for donating bibles last year, asked for donation of bibles again for this year, $600 donation motion was passed; Joyce Crawford could use help with ceiling work in her house, looking to get group of members to do the work, motion passed to do the work and cover costs (date and cost TBD); church youth group is bringing in Jason Evert for youth focused event on 4/26, will need assistance for parking (meet @ 4:30), they will also need parking direction signs; looking to possibly do the Sock Hop once again in May.
